6. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless other arrangements have been agreed to in writing. We accept the payment methods communicated to you at the time of service. Invoices not paid when due may be subject to a late charge and interest at the maximum rate permitted by California law, and you agree to pay reasonable costs of collection, including attorney’s fees, to the extent permitted by law. We reserve the right to suspend work or decline future service for accounts with unpaid balances.
7. Warranty on Work
We stand behind our workmanship. Unless otherwise stated in your invoice or written estimate, our labor is warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. Parts, fixtures, and equipment are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranties, and we will reasonably assist you in pursuing manufacturer warranty claims.
This warranty does not cover: damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents; freezing, acts of nature, or events beyond our control; drain stoppages or clogs occurring after service (which are inherently recurring conditions unless otherwise stated in writing); repairs or modifications made by anyone other than CRC Plumbing; normal wear and tear; pre-existing conditions; or customer-supplied parts or fixtures. Customer-supplied materials are installed at the customer’s risk and carry no warranty from CRC Plumbing other than proper installation.
To make a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and remedy the issue. Repair or replacement of the defective workmanship is your exclusive remedy under this warranty.
8. Emergency Services
Emergency and after-hours services may be subject to different rates, which will be communicated to you before work begins whenever reasonably possible. In an emergency, our first priority is stopping or containing the immediate problem; permanent repairs may need to be scheduled separately.
9. Limitation of Liability
